Volume is hard cover with a printed full color cover that includes a map as background with the painting “The Last Full Measure” by Keith Rocco superimposed at center. The volume was printed by Butternut and Blue of Baltimore, Maryland in 1999, is a 1st edition and runs approx. 301 pages. Volume meas. 8.75 x 11.25 inches.

Interior has 55 full color maps with text detailing the fighting at Gettysburg on July 2, 1863. Pages are of a nice coated paper that causes the colors on the maps to really stand out. Interior is very clean except for 20 pages that have notes written on them in pen. Most of these are one or two line notes. These notes are only in the text portion and actually help to enhance the information.
