Excavated brass drag from an 1840 sword scabbard. This type of drag was used on both the NCO and musician scabbards. Brass is in decent condition with minor dings and dents. Nice green and brown patina.

Recovered by local Gettysburg resident John Cullison, who excavated relics on the field from 1935-1959. This piece was recovered in the Valley of Death. Cullison sold his relics to the famed Rosensteel family, who built the primary collection of Gettysburg artifacts.  [jet]
