This is a pin-back medal made as a souvenir for the 50th anniversary, in 1913, of the Battle of Gettysburg. A pin-back metal bar in the form of a ribbon has “SOUVENIR” on the front. Suspended by two links is a 1 3/8” round medal.  The front reads, “19   50th ANNIVERSARY  13   BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG” around the edge.  In the center are busts of Generals Meade and Lee facing each other.
