Attractive delegate’s badge for the 27th Annual Pennsylvania State Fireman’s Convention held in Gettysburg on October 1-6, 1906. About 5” long overall. White metal top bar has a spring pin on back and “DELEGATE” on the front with three images. In the center is the Pennsylvania keystone and state seal. To the left is an oval containing a Civil War soldier and the date 1863. To the right is another oval containing a fireman and the date 1906. A plain red ribbon is suspended from this and is attached to the bottom medallion by a ring. In the center this bottom, white metal medallion is the image of the Fireman’s Excelsior Brigade monument that was erected in 1897. Text and date run around the perimeter.  This badge is in excellent condition, with strong ribbon and clean medals.  [jet]
