Relics recovered on Pickett’s Charge field by local Gettysburg resident John Cullison, who excavated relics on the field from 1935-1959. Cullison sold his collection to the famed Gettysburg Rosensteel family, whole held these relics in their private collection until released in 1996.

  • .50 caliber Gallagher bullet
  • .577 caliber C.S. Enfield bullet with box wood plug
  • soldier’s small camp knife
  • two fired .54 caliber Minie Balls for Mississippi rifle
  • fired .52 caliber Sharps bullet
  • .44 caliber pistol ball for Colt Army Revolver
  • soldier’s hand-made nipple protector
  • C.S. field-made .69 caliber musket ball showing sprue
  • five fired and deformed Minie Balls
  • soldier’s camp fork
  • .58 caliber U.S. star in base Minie Ball
  • .577 caliber Enfield bullet
  • two fired .58 caliber U.S. Minie Balls
