Pocket knife has unique horsehead bolster. Other bolster has a raised image of a saddle on both sides. Bolsters appear to be made of silver.

One horn scale is present. The side of knife that is missing the scale has been painted with lettering that reads, “FOUND AT BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG 1897”.

Knife has two blades, a smaller and a larger. Both have broken ends. Blades still function to move in and out of case. Knife originally had corkscrew which is missing.

Measures approx. 4 ½” long. Shows light surface rust and pitting on iron parts. [sl]
