Potmetal tray shows raised images of General Lee’s Headquarters and General Meade’s Headquarters at Gettysburg. Bust images of the generals are above with crossed Confederate and Union flags in the center. Lettering above images reads, “FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG”. Under flags are the years, “1863 / 1913”. Tray has been highlighted with gold paint. Lettering on reverse reads, “MADE IN JAPAN / A.C. BOSSELMAN & CO. NEW YORK”.
Dish measures 3 ¾” by 4 ½”. Some darkening and spotting is present due to age. [sl]
