Recovered at the Rose Farm [located south of the Peach Orchard—in the path Longstreet’s attack, July 2, 1863]. Exhibits darkened patina and surface grime. Slightly wavery & misshapen around the edge, w/minor dent on right side. Reverse lead backing displays oxidation and grime. Both reverse loops present, rusted but solid. Else VG. Superb Gettysburg relic plate. [jp]
