Top of the badge is a a solid bar with “GETTYSBURG” at center and a working pin on the reverse.
Suspended from the bar is a 6th Corps Greek cross with lettering that reads “JULY 2 DEDICATION OF MONUMENT 1888.”
It is not clear which monument the badge was issued for as many were dedicated on July 2, 1888. However, the 139th Pennsylvania has a monument in the shape of a Greek cross on Sickles Ave which was dedicated in 1888.
Badge is in nice condition. [ad]
