Large albumen photo shows a group of veterans and sons of veterans with their wives and daughters on the Gettysburg Battlefield. They are posed in front of the High Water Mark Monument. Men are wearing suits and hats. Most have a light-colored ribbon pinned on the left side of their jackets. Ladies are wearing the fashionable skirts and blouses that were popular around the turn of the century. Most are wearing straw hats.
Pencil marking on mount below image reads,"1590". No other markings.
Photo is mounted on cardstock. It is clear with good contrast. Photo measures 7" by 9.5". Cardstock measures 8.25" by 10.5". Cardstock shows chipping on edges and a nail hole at top center. [sl]
