Stack of ten round balls that were recovered from the Gettysburg Battlefield are mounted on a metal disk and painted black to look like cannon balls. Paper label on underside reads, "GETTYSBURG PAPER WEIGHT / MADE WITH BULLETS FROM THE BATTLEFIELD". Hand inscription on label reads, "JULY 5, 1928".
Measures 2" in diameter by 2" high. Paint and label show light wear in areas. [sl]
