Nice unused sheet of stationery with header that reads “FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG COMMISSION” in blue ink and flanked by “1863” and “1913” in gold.
At center bottom of the header is the Seal of the State of Pennsylvania flanked by a list of Commissioners on one side and Officers on the other.
Envelope has “FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG COMMISSION” in the upper left corner.
Both items are in very nice condition. [AD]

This musket is stamped “42. VA. REGT. PITTSYLVANIA” on the barrel, was later altered to percussion and then shortened for use in the civilian market. It is a scarce survivor from muskets delivered to Virginia by Jame Swan of Boston in January… (1000-241). Learn More »
