The full title of this work is “THE 151ST PENNSYLVANIA VOLUNTEERS AT GETTYSBURG: LIKE RIPE APPLES IN A STORM” by Michael A. Dreese, with forward by Timothy H. Smith and published by McFarland in 2000.
Book is hardbound with a printed hardcover showing an illustration of the fighting on July 1st near the Lutheran Seminary. There is no dustjacket. Covers are in very nice condition. Partially removed “SIGNED BY AUTHOR” sticker at lower right front corner. Title page is signed “BEST WISHES, MICHAEL A. DREESE.”
Volume meas. approx. 8.75 x 11.25 inches and run 190 pages with index. Text contains numerous black and white photographs of members of the regiment as well as scenes on the battlefield relating to their service. There are also several maps.
A very clean copy.
