Paper photo mounted on hard stock meas. approx. 7.50 inches wide x 13.25 inches high. Nice clear black and white photo of the monument to the 94th New York Infantry on north Reynolds Ave, First Day’s Battlefield at Gettysburg. The view appears to have been taken looking west. Behind the monument are open fields and the South Mountain range in the far distance. Off in the distance of the right background is another monument that must be for one of Buford’s Cavalry regiments. Some light foxing to one side and some tiny spots near the top of the obelisk. There is also a slight curve to the stock the photo is mounted on but the photo is not damaged. Back has pencil inscription that reads “1022- North Reynolds Ave.” Believe this to be a view by Tipton. Printed very small at bottom is his negative number and title that reads “1022, 94th N.Y. Monument-Reynolds Ave.”
