A colored 200th Anniversary colored lithograph [1932] is included. The display comes with a certificate of authenticity as well as documents regarding the progression of ownership from the nephew of George Washington to Martha Washington in 1924 as well as other information on the family.

A strand of hair belonging to George Washington that descended in the family of his nephew George Steptoe Washington to his great granddaughter Martha Washington of Philadelphia, the great - great grandniece of General George Washington. George Steptoe Washington was the son of Samuel Walter Washington who died in 1781. George Washington acted as guardian for his nephew after his brother's death. Martha Washington took possession of the lock of George Washington's hair; this strand originated from in 1924.
