Nice example of a hand blown glass pharmaceutical Laboratory beaker from the firm of WHITEHALL & TATUM of Pennsylvania.  Etched on the left side are the graduated measurements of 1/4, 1/2, 1, 1-1/2, 2, OZ.  Also etched and visible on the rear side is a diamond and Round shaped cartouche with the wording TO DELIVER GUARANTEED WHITEHALL TATUM CO. PENNA. ACCURATE within the diamond shaped mark. The circle contains the wording N.Y. CITY AND PENNA APPROVED, TYPE 111. SERIAL A-2. This beaker stands 4 ¾” in height and is without damages (Cracks or chips). This would be a nice item to add to your Civil War medical collection.
