Circa 18th/19th century German ceramic apothecary jar with the original lid. Jar with two handles, salt glazed with simple blue cobalt flower design painted on front. Back side is plain salt glazed gray color. Underside of lid has minor repair. Small crack measures approx. 3” long; crack visible along edge. Not visible on top. Measures 4 x 6”. Lids are seldom seen! [ws]
