Aqua glass bottle has applied top and polished pontil scar. Embossing reads, “JOHN S. SMITH / LOUISVILLE, KY”. Underside is embossed with “KYGW CO.” This bottle contained Smith's Tonic Syrup or Febrifuge, which was a very popular cure for fever, ague and all kinds of ailments.
Bubbles and irregularities are present due to the hand blown glass process.
Measures 6 ½” tall by 2” wide. No chips or cracks. [sl]
