Mahogany wood chest has hinged lid which opens up to reveal five compartments, four which hold original apothecary glass bottles, all with original labels and glass or cork stoppers.  Lower drawer opens after pulling brass pin on top edge. Drawer contains five glass bottles with glass or cork stoppers, brass scale with weights and bone tongue depressor.

Top of chest is lined in faded green velvet, which is in good condition. Wooden dividers in drawer are not lined.

Top of chest shows a folding brass handle. Front of drawer has decorative brass plate with pull ring.

Chest measures 9 ¼” tall by 9 ¾” wide by 3 ½” deep. Wood has a few very minor nicks and scratches, but is overall in very good condition.  [sl]
