This non-dug plate has a nice smooth medium patina. The detail on the eagle is very good. Some small dings are present on edge of plate.
The reverse has 100% of the lead fill and both hooks, which are slightly rusted. Maker’s mark is present and reads, “W.H. WILKINSON, SPRINGFIELD, MASS, US”. Inspector’s stamp reads, “T.J. SHEPERD”.
