Rectangular plate with brass keeper attached to one end. Raised decoration at center is a spread-winged eagle with a patriotic shield on his chest inside of an applied silver wreath that extends above the eagles wings. Patina is nice and bright.
Reverse has a small tongue and a circular impression on the center of the plate. Plate and keeper are both stamped with the numbers, “788”. [SM]
