Canteen is uncovered and has no chain or stopper though the hole to anchor the chain is present in one of the sling keepers. The body of the canteen has numerous small dings and dents with a larger dent at center on each side. All three sling keepers are present. Spout is pewter and slightly curled on one edge. No marker’s mark is present. There is some light surface rust scattered throughout but no signs of any perforations. The side seams are still tightly closed.
