Sling is made of black bridle leather and meas. approx. 27.00 inches long x 2.50 inches wide. The length measurement was made with the sling lying flat and measuring from the tip of the “bat wing” to the top edge of the snap hook. The adjustment buckle is a reproduction and can easily be replaced with an original if desired. Original “Bat wing” displays a nice patina and the leather above it is stamped with the number “17.” Original iron snap hook is marked “O.B. North and Co., New Haven, Ct.”
