Bridle leather waist belt that meas. approx. 1.75 inches wide. The leather is supple with light to moderate surface crazing. There is a 0.50 inch tear along the bottom edge located approx. 8.75 inches from the brass keeper. This area has an old repair on the backside of the belt. Brass adjuster hook is present as is the sliding leather keeper.

Brass plate is rectangular and has the initials “N. G. P.” for National Guard Pennsylvania at center within a raised oval border. Brass keeper is stamped with “O. F.” Plate has no visible mark.

Item has an old collector tag attached with technical information such as the model year of the belt and when it was used.  [ad]
