The leather throughout the box is pliable allowing the flap to open. Moderate wear, cracking, and loss of surface finish on outer flap. The outer flap has a faint oval inspector’s stamp and has integral closing tab. Tab is unbroken. This pouch never had an interior flap and both “ears” are missing. The body of the box is in very nice condition. There is no fleece and no pick. Bottom has pointy brass finial. Reverse has both belt loops which are unbroken. Belt loops are stitched and riveted. A faint maker’s stamp on back of pouch (between belt loops) is from Baker & McKenne. Remaining stitching throughout is tight and unbroken. This is a nice cap pouch with maker’s stamps. [jet]
