This is a percussion cap pouch. The leather is smooth and the whole piece is in good overall condition. This pattern has the “square” outer flap with closing tab sewn to the underside. The latch tab is broken. The interior flap is supple and stamped “_UTTLILISON & CO. / QUINCY, ILL.” Both inner “ears” remain firmly sewn in place. No fleece remains. Bottom has brass finial. Both narrow belt loops remain in place on back and are stitched and riveted. One of the loops is broken. All stitching is strong and intact.
