This is a percussion cap pouch. The leather is smooth and the whole piece is in good overall condition. This pattern has the “square” outer flap with closing tab sewn to the underside. The latch tab is complete and unbroken. The interior flap has both “ears” firmly sewn in place. About half of the fleece remains. Bottom has brass finial. Both narrow belt loops remain in place on back and are stitched only. Both loops show signs of use. All stitching is strong and intact.
