Leather box to hold six packs of cartridges. Standard sized black bridal leather box, with bold “USN” outer flap marking, and inner flap marking, “NAVY YARD / NY / 1863" with two anchors. Leather remains pliable with light wear. Latch tab is present and solid. Inner percussion cap pouch still retains some fleece. Stitching uniformly excellent. The cartridge tin is missing. Large single belt loop on back is fine. Overall in very good condition. [jet]
