This is a complete percussion cap pouch. The leather over the whole piece is excellent. This pattern has the integral closing tab as an extension of the outer flap. The latch tab is unbroken. The outer flap has oval sub-inspector’s stamp. Both “ears” remain in place and are sewn directly to the outer flap. No fleece remains but there is an original pick. Bottom has brass finial. Both narrow belt loops remain in place on back and are stitched and riveted. “WILKINSON” maker’s stamp is on back between the belt loops.
