This is a complete and very nice percussion cap pouch. The leather over the whole piece shows light surface crazing. This pattern has the integral closing tab as an extension of the outer flap. The latch tab is unbroken. A light sub-inspector’s (“R. WHITE”) stamp is present on the flap. The interior flap is unmarked and has both inner “ears” in place. The fleece is present but no pick. A number of percussion caps remain in the pouch. Bottom has brass finial. Both narrow belt loops remain in place on back and are stitched and riveted. A “B” is stamped between the belt loops.
