The leather of this holster has a dry, stiff feel to it. It is complete with flap, solid leather tap, brass finial and the plug is still present in the base of the cylinder. However, the side seam has split along its whole length from the edge of the top flap down to the plug in the cylinder. There are no tears or material loss it just looks as though the thread rotted and burst. The reverse has a leather belt loop attached with two copper rivets. The holster shows signs of use such as average wear to the leather surfaces and curled tip on the latch tab and the outline of the revolver the holster once held.
