Black silk satin pre-tied cravat stiffened with lightweight cotton canvas. Flat bow with single loops and ends measures 2" high and 5½" wide end-to-end. The center section of the bow measures 2 ⅛" wide. There is a two-pronged white metal hook secured to the folds at the center of the wrong side of the cravat. The hook slips under the lower edge of the detachable collar to keep the cravat from riding up on the neck. The bow is mounted on a 11" long band of black silk satin; the band is 1" at the center, tapering to ½" at each end. A ⅜" wide woven tape with slide buckle adjustment is attached to either end of the satin band. The cravat can be adjusted to accommodate a neck up to 18".
