PIECE OF CIVIL WAR HARDTACK

$75.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 1030-70

One of the main staples of a soldier’s diet, and the subject of many jokes and songs, was the hardtack cracker. Here is a piece that survived the war. It measures 2 ½” by 2 ¾”. Some light surface cracking is present, but item is intact with no crumbling. Light surface dirt is present.

This would make a great addition for a display of a soldier’s personal effects.  [SL]
