Japanned tin case with embossed lettering on the lid that reads across the top “INDIA RUBBER” and at center “TELESCOPIC TUMBLER MADE BY THE INDIA RUBBER COMP.” Tin has numerous small scratches. Inside the tin is a collapsible cup that is lightly marked along the top rim “GOODYEARS PATENT MAY 5, 1851.” When opened the cup stands approx. 3.00 inches high. The body of the cup is in very nice condition.
