Carved from animal bone this is a lapel pin 15 /16 of an inch square. The back is carved to fit into a buttonhole. The front is just a plain simple circle filled with dark paint. In a small areas of the circle the paint is missing. It could represent the 1srt Corps since their badge is a circle.
