Locket is of the pocket watch pattern with a stippled exterior surface with two smooth faced concentric rings. Locket meas. approx. 1.75 inches across.

Inside are two glass covered recesses. One holds a generous lock of brown hair while the other holds a bust view of a Union soldier sporting a goatee and wearing a dark frock coat.

Image has excellent clarity and good contrast.

Locket opens and closes properly and is in overall nice condition.  [AD]
