This is an unusual ivory slab medallion that measures 2” high x 1½” wide x 1/8” thick. Surface is painstakingly etched with a delicate, hand-done image of two multi-point stars, one overlaid on the other, and enclosed within a 1½” circle with its outer border marked off in small uniform increments. The outer corner of the slab medallion shows a hand-carved, five-point star with a plain center area. A single hole at the top edge is for a neck chain or string. Centered on the top eight-point, black inked star is a small circular wheel device. Bottom eight-point star has its points half shaded. Medallion is finished smooth and hard and has a mellow off-white hue. No other markings or inscriptions.
