Closed this item meas. approx. 3.00 x 4.25 inches. The exterior body is made of worn blue velvet. Open the item meas. approx. 6.00 x 4.25 inches with a silk lining that is split along one fold. One edge has three small sewn pockets while the center has red, white and blue pin holders that contain approx. 16 sewing needles. Item is tired and a little dirty but is holding together well.
