Image shows 18 officers arranged in two rows with the front sitting and the rear rank standing. Standing at center is the commanding officer. All the officers pictured wear dark frock coats and light trousers. The officers in the front row wear 1880’s spiked helmets with large horse hair plumes and agaulettes. The lone exception wears a dark slouch hat. The officers in the back row wear the same helmets but without the plume. Many of the officers wear shooting medals and some wear what look to be medals with GAR stars attached. All in the front row wear Model 1860 Field & Staff Officer’s swords.

The image has faded some from exposure to the sun but all details are visible.

Photo is housed in a modern frame and mat.
