Brown leather, gilt trimmed album w/clasps, measuring 6 x 4.75 x 2.5", containing 41civilian images, mostly carte de visites mixed with a few tintypes. Subjects consist of a mix of young adult males & females with a sprinkling of oldsters and children. The images feature the following Lebanon, Pa, backmarks: "Photographed by/ M.C. Lautz/ Lebanon, PA", "Keystone Photo Studio/ L.H. White/ Lebanon, PA.", "Photographed by/ J. Smith, Sr. (successor to J. H. Keim)/ Lebanon PA". The album exhibits light scuffing and wear at the exteriors; inner "leaves" display patches of slight foxing; images range in condition from crisp & clear to extremely light & faded, with the sharper images predominating. Overall VG. An attractive trove of Civil War photos for Lebanon, PA, historians & genealogists.
