Beautiful CDV album has brown leather cover with gold embossing and inlaid pearl-type beads on each corner of both the front and back covers. Leather is in great condition, with some wear on the spine and corners. The binding inside of the front cover is split, but all pages are present and intact. The edges of the pages are gold gilt which has retained its brightness. The album closes with decorative gold colored metal clasps which are still firmly attached.

Album contains 37 images. There are a variety of men, women and children of all ages. Many of the pages have names written in pencil on the borders. Men are all in civilian attire. There are individuals as well as families posing together. There are also lithographs of Confederate Generals Sterling Price, A.P. Hill, Albert Sydney Johnston, and CS President Jefferson Davis.

Album measures approx. 6” x 5” x 2 ½”.

This is a great album for a collector of civilian images.
