WORLD WAR TWO JAPANESE PHOTO ALBUM

$65.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 954-05

Album is in very nice condition. No loose pages and very little wear to its surfaces.

It meas. approx. 8.00 x 5.50 inches and contains 49 photographs with kanji captions. Photos range from pre-war through the war to post-war. The album appears to have belonged to a soldier in an anti-aircraft unit. There are many shots of individual soldiers as well as groups. One image shows a man in traditional samurai armor. There are also several formal portraits of soldiers.

Overall an interesting album that might reveal a story if the kanji is deciphered.  [ad]
