Sturdy hardbound album with khaki cloth covers. Gold star embossed at top center with red pennants with gold crossed rifles superimposed over either a letter “I” or the number “1.” There is also some Japanese characters on the cover.
Album meas. approx. 11.00 x 9.00 inches and holds 205 photos almost all of which have military content. The album looks to cover the invasion of China and has photographs of troop movements, patrols, battleground landscapes, weapons, flags, captured weapons cache and machine guns as well as group and individual portraits showing different medals being worn.
Taped inside the front cover is a large Japanese 10 yen bond. [ad]
