This pair of cartes de visite seem to be portraying some sort of scene. Both images include a Union captain, a young girl, and Columbia (Lady Liberty). In the images the young girl appears to be taking direction from Columbia. The girl places a wreath of laurels on the head of the captain. Both mounts have pre-printed gold borders. Edges are sharp, no soiling. Images are slightly light, but with good contrast. Two different styles of back marks on the mounts, but from same photographer. R.S. Jacoby from Stroudsburg, PA. [jet]
