Geary [1818-1873] enjoyed an extensive, wide-ranging career, serving as one time Mayor of San Francisco and territorial Governor of Kansas, and two post-war terms as Governor of Pennsylvania. During the Civil War he was promoted to Union divisional command, was present at Gettysburg, and later distinguished himself during Sherman’s Atlanta Campaign. Definitely collectible.
