CDV is a chest-up view of Union General George B. McClellan. He is wearing a dark colored double breasted frock coat with shoulder boards. Bottom of mount is labeled, “MAJ. GEN. G.B. McCLELLAN”.
Reverse has a photographer’s imprint which reads, “R.W.ADDIS, PHOTOGRAPHER, McCLEES GALLERY, 308 PENNA. AVENUE, WASHINGTON, D.C.”.
Image is clear and the contrast is good. Surface has some light dirt from age. Image has yellowed with time.
