CDV is a chest-up view of Union Surgeon Warren Cleveland. He is wearing a dark colored civilian frock coat, white shirt and cravat.
Reverse has the photographer’s imprint which reads, “QUINBY & MIZENER, PHOTOGRAPHERS, CAMP PAROLE, MD”.
Dr. Warren Cleveland was a surgeon for the 87th New York Vols. from October 24, 1861- January 6, 1862. He worked as an Asst. Surgeon for the 55th New York Vols. from October 6, 1862 – December 23, 1862.
Image is clear and the contrast is good. Surface has some light dirt from age. Image has yellowed with time.
