Image is a postwar photograph of General Lee in a dark civilian suit. From his appearance it looks to have been taken not long after the war.
Clarity and contrast are excellent. Mount and paper are very good.
Reverse has photographer’s imprint for E & H.T. ANTHONY FROM A BRADY NEGATIVE. At top is an old pencil inscription that reads “ROBT LEE.” [AD]
