Ca. 1860s. Standing frontal image of portly older man in unidentifiable fraternal dress [fore and aft hat with feather and medallion, sword and cross belts, and gloves] standing with sword against studio backdrop. Reverse has "W.C. North / Photographer/Utica, N.Y.", printed at bottom below an extremely attractive rendering of the E.T. Manning building with flagpole. Moderately clear image exhibits very slight soiling. An interesting fraternal CDV with superb backmark.
