CDV is a three-quarter sitting view of an unidentified soldier. He is wearing a dark colored sack coat, lighter colored trousers, gauntlets and a forage cap.

The reverse has a photographer’s imprint which reads, “PHOTOGRAPHED BY G.W.ROSEBERRY, 95 KING STREET, ALEXANDRIA, VA.”. There is a handwritten inscription which someone had ID’D the image, but it in incorrect.

Image is clear and the contrast is good. Surface has some light dirt from age. Image has yellowed with time.  [sm]
